While Divergent stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James have yet to officially announce they're dating, the pair seemed pretty intimate as they joked about their late night make-out sessions in a candid interview. Rumor has it Taylor Swift was looking to make the move on Theo, but it looks like she's way too late. It's also been announced that Lionsgate's Divergent sequel Allegiant will be split into two movies instead of one.
Shailene Woodley and Theo James star of the blockbuster Divergent said that they thought more about their kissing scene than they did any other moment in the movie--but not for the reasons you might think.
During a recent in-depth interview about the movie with Sugar Scape, Shailene opened up about just how much the moment when the couple finally kiss in the film actually meant to her:
"It was probably the scene we thought most about in the movie.
"We wanted to make sure--because Theo obviously had to take his shirt off--that it didn't seem exploitative and it didn't feel like that, you know, the hot kiss in the young adult franchise.
"We wanted it to be tender and sweet, but also to be relatable and realistic--and strong and what not."
And it wasn't exactly easy for Theo to spend so much time with Woodly, because according to an insider in Star, Shailene smells worse than old feta feet.
The source told the publication that Shai smell was so repugnant that it was starting to affect her career:
"Shailene rubs these essential oils all over her body, and they aren't very welcoming scents.
"Her smell is totally offensive, and it's gotten so bad that her stylist is having a hard time borrowing designer outfits for her to wear because she makes the gowns stink!
"There is absolutely no way to get that stench out of those expensive fabrics. Designers don't want their pieces back after Shailene is done with them!"
To make a bad situation worse Theo has to make at least three more films with Shai, if he stays with the franchise, since the Divergent next sequel in going to be split up into two separate films reports Deadline:
"Lionsgate/Summit will adapt Veronica Roth's Divergent novel trilogy into a total of not three, but four films starring Shailene Woodley as the dystopian sci-fi heroine Beatrice "Tris" Prior, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group Co-Chairmen Rob Friedman and Patrick Wachsberger revealed today.
"Lionsgate had previously set Allegiant for a March 18, 2016 release. Allegiant Part 1 will keep that date, with Part 2 to follow on March 24, 2017. Both films will be produced separately."
Well at least Shailene will have plenty of time to learn how to properly bathe between now and her final film with Theo.
