Day time talk show host Wendy Williams was enraged by One Direction band members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson for presumably smoking the dope, but only because they did it on camera. Williams gave them carte blanche to abuse all the drugs they like in the privacy of their own homes, so they don't alienate their fan base of impressionable children. Speaking of impressionable children, Wendy recently praised 19-year-old Gigi Hadid, who has previously been linked to Cody Simpson, for allegedly hooking up with Justin Bieber, after slamming Paris Hilton, just last week, for even hanging out with the Biebs at a house party. The difference according to Williams is Hadid could help her career by having sex with the racist drag racer, but Paris Hilton is already well known, so she should probably only have sex with people more famous or well off than she is. Basically Wendy seems to think it's a woman's duty to use her vagina to get ahead in the world.
Wendy Williams has a warped sense of duty when it comes to her idol worship.
The day time talk show host doesn't care about the truth, or drug abuse for that matter, just as long as she doesn't have to know about it.
Williams expressed true outrage this week in her contribution to Life & Style Magazine, but not at the fact that One Direction pop stars Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson were apparently smoking marijuana, so much as they did it on film:
"We all look at One Direction and think they are a squeaky-clean, sparkling group of guys...but judging from a recent leaked video of band favorites Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson presumably smoking a joint, our assumptions were wrong.
"This is terrible- -I don't want little girls and boys to be disappointed in their idols!
"If you're going to engage in this kind of bad boy behavior, keep it behind closed doors, please!"
The One Direction boys shouldn't take Williams criticisms too much to heart; the wigged wonder hardly knows what the hell she's saying half the time anyways.
Just last week she made fun of billionaire heiress/amateur porn star for being seen with known racist/douchebag Justin Bieber last week in Cannes (via Life & Style):
"So Paris Hilton was hanging out with Justin Bieber in Cannes? Say it isn't so!
"Paris, you know you're better than to slump down to the Biebs level."
But this week she forgot all about Bieber's bigotry and suggested that teenager GiGi Hadid go ahead and sleep with him while she can if she hasn't already--you know...so she can get ahead (via Life & Style):
"Yolanda Foster's daughter GiGi Hadid was seen canoodling with Justin Bieber in Cannes, France--and I don't blame her one bit!
"This connection could really boost her career...Look we weren't talking about Gigi before, but now that she's with the Biebs, we're interested. I say get it, girl!
"Just please use protection."
So just to recap: smoking marijuana is your 20's is terrible, and unwanted pregnancy is no good at any age, but teenage prostitution--if it's for a good cause like making money--is just alright with Wendy.
