Instagram “22” Taylor Swift Dwight Yoakam Dating Diss; Boyfriend Ed Sheeran Talks New ‘Red’ Album [VIDEO UPDATE]

It seems that Taylor Swift is known by everyone young and old as the pop country princess that writes all the breakup songs. When country music genius Dwight Yoakam was asked which of the buxom Instagram blonde's songs was his favorite, he playfully dissed her reputation as a breakup artist instead of admitting that he couldn't seem to remember any. Her rumored boyfriend Ed Sheeran, who has toured with the "22" singer for more than 6 months, says that repetition won't be a problem for Taye Taye's new album. The "Sing" singer says that Swift's next album wasn't going to be 'Red' 2--it was going to blow minds.

While millions more than just country's core fans can sing the word to many of Taylor Swifts' Top 20 hits--word for word, all around the world--country and western legend Dwight Yoakam does seem to be to among them.

When asked by TMZ if he counted Taylor Swift among the ranks of true country artists he was quick to answer yes, but when asked which song of Swift he liked best--Yoakam just kind of made fun of her.

"Yeah, she's country...You know what...What was the first guy she dated after they broke-up?

"The one where she hates the guy that left her...no,no,no...the other one...that she hates that guy...he's awful. "It Was Terrible" or something like that."

[Did you catch that creepy Dennis Hopper impression at the end of that thing?]

Anyways, Taylor Swift bestie Ed Sheeran, on the other hand, had nothing but the nicest things to say about Taylor's newest album.

Ed recently spilled the beans to MTV that not only has Taylor written this entire upcoming album by herself, it is different than anything she's ever done before:

"I don't think she's teamed up with anyone; I think she did it all on her own. It's really good.

"She has to evolve. If she makes another Red everyone will be like, 'It sounds like 'Red'. ' But she's evolved and I think it's a positive step."

One thing is for certain, Dwight Yoakam isn't going to be invited to contribute a twangy duet on this album.
