Just when things were starting to look bright again for married talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her Arrested Development wife Portia de Rossi, it seems Modern Family hot mama Sofia Vergara reportedly has the couple ready to split, again. The status of Ellen and Portia's marriage has been the constant focus of internet rumor and tabloid speculation for months, with Portia being accused of everything from cheating to being pregnant. But, now it seems it Ellen is the one that everyone suspects of having an affair.
Any fan of Ellen DeGeneres talk show would know that the dancing host loves to have Modern Family friend and fellow CoverGirl spokeswoman Sofia Vergara on the program as often as possible.
But it seems that Portia isn't near as fond of Vergara or her relationship with her sugar daddy wife.
To make matters worse, since Sofia dumped her long-time fiancé/boyfriend Nick Loeb, Vergara is spending more and more time crying on Ellen's shoulders.
An insider, who supposedly knows, told OK! Magazine that Ellen and Sofia's friendship was really starting stress the bonds of her marriage to Portia:
"Portia always resented Ellen's friendship with Sofia, and now that Sofia is leaning on Ellen for support--she's even more jealous.
"Portia always thought Ellen was a little too touchy-feely with Sofia.
"They've fought about it before, but Ellen convinced Portia she was blowing the situation out of proportion and that the women were just good friends."
While it seems a bit of a stretch to imagine 41-year-old Sofia Vergara questioning her sexuality at this point in her life, nothing is impossible in Hollywood, and Ellen's reported $250 million net looks pretty sexy no matter which team you're batting for.
