Married Ellen DeGeneres and Pregnant Portia De Rossi Cheating Divorce Split; Wife Offends Catholics? [RUMORS]

Married day time talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her Arrested Development wife Portia de Rossi have been battling rumors that they are ready to divorce due to allegations of cheating and ugly alcohol abuse; though they have promised their relationship is as healthy as ever. There have even been stories circulating that Ellen promised to let Portia get pregnant and have baby, if de Rossi promised not to split. Perhaps it all this negative publicity and not just the fact that Ellen is homosexual that caused her picture's appearance on the St. Andrew Catholic Elementary School graduation invitations to offend the parents and teachers so severely.

Amid all the fanciful stories and rumors about Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi martial ups and downs, a real-life story blows them all out of the water for its inherent stupidity and unbelievably--though it seems to be 100 percent true.

According to Philly.com one Pennsylvania catholic school principle couldn't help but offend the entire student body's parents when she sent out a graduation dance invitation with Ellen on it, than apologized for what a horrific lapse in judgment it had been:

" It was 'completely wrong' to use DeGeneres' picture because the lesbian celebrity 'lives her life outside the teachings of the Catholic Church,' St. Andrew Elementary School principal Nancy Matteo wrote in an email to parents.

"In the email, Matteo says she was 'obviously NOT thinking... Perhaps I was distracted by the Oscar,' ...calling the entertainer a 'poor role model.'"

And if you are thinking that is it just the actions of one misguided offensively ignorant, socially-retarded Catholic principle and in no way reflect the official views of any forward thinking institution in this day and age; you would be dead wrong.

A spokesman for the Catholic Archdiocere in Philadelphia basically insisted bone-headed bigot Nancy Matteo did the right thing by informing elementary school aged children that the love that exists between Ellen and Portia is a disgusting abomination in the eyes of the god and the baby Jesus that deserves to by snuffed out by an eternity in hell/lake of fire (via Philly.com):

"All Catholic schools in the Archdiocese are firmly rooted in Gospel-based values and the teachings of the Church."

"As such, it is expected that any promotional materials developed by these schools would feature images and themes that correspond with their core mission and identity.

"That approach is logical and our school families have a right to expect it."

Well...there the open minded attitude that we've come to expect from a church that did everything it could to keep Europe the dark ages for two millennia.

It's nice to have something you can count on...like church sanctioned hate.
