Paco De Lucía, Revered Flamenco and Jazz Guitarist from Andalucia, Dead at 66
Paco De Lucía, a superstar among flamenco guitarists, has died aged 66. Born Francisco Gustavo Sánchez Gomes, and best known for his flamenco albums, he also played classical and jazz. Some of his finest collaborations were in these spheres, as with the jazz guitar star John McLaughlin. Randy Chortkoff of Delta Groove Music is under arrest for selling an investment that didn't exist. Securities and Exhange special agent Timothy Delaney claimed that Chortkoff's opportunities were "straight up fraud" and could land him in prison for 20 years--if convicted.
