    Knicks President Phil Jackson is being fined by the NBA for tampering with the Oklahoma Thunder's Derek Fischer. Jackson made it known he was interested in pursuing Fischer for the vacant Knicks head coaching position. As Fischer has hinted he would likely retire at the end of season, he would make a great candidate. However, as he is still under contract with the Thunder until June 30, the NBA says such speculation is not okay. So for now the future of the Knicks job is still uncertain.
