Both men had scandals surrounding racism. Ben when it was revealed that asked PBS’ 'Finding Your Roots' host Skip Gates, to hide the fact that his ancestors owned slaves, and Matt when he objecting to diversifying the director of a Project Greenlight film, for diversity sake. Ben Affleck also famously split from his wife Jennifer Garner. Now, Ben’s breakup is blamed for being the driving force behind Matt’s reported divorce from his wife, Luciana Bozán Barroso. Ben reportedly moved into Matt’s guest house after his breakup, driving a wedge between the couple.
