‘Glee’ and ‘Wicked’s’ Kristin Chenoweth ‘Coming Home’ for Black Friday PBS Concert After New Album Release

“What a Lovely Way to Spend”... Black Friday. Broadway legend Kristin Chenoweth is “Coming Home,” this weekend with an all new PBS special concert. The concert, named after her newly released album, Coming Home, catalogs some of the starlet’s favorite songs, as well as some of her biggest hits. Chenoweth is know for various Broadway credits including, Wicked, Steel Pier, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, Promises Promises and many more. She is also known for her roles on TV's Glee, The West Wing, & BoJack Horseman just to name a few.

The offical TV Guide description of this Friday’s Kristin Chenoweth coming home concert, reads:

“Kristin Chenoweth performs in her hometown of Broken Arrow, Okla. Songs include ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow,’ ‘Popular,’ ‘For Good,’ ‘Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again,’ ‘All the Things You Are,’ ‘Enough Is Enough’ and ‘I Was Here.’ Also featured: ‘ I Could Have Danced All Night"; ‘Going to the Dance With You’; ‘My Coloring Book’; ‘Bring Him Home’; ‘Upon This Rock’; ‘Maybe This Time’; and ‘Fathers and Daughters.’"

The all new special airs, Friday night at 9:00 p.m. on PBS.

Chenoweth also has new album out, also titled Coming Home. Recently, the legend spoke to USA Today, about the new record, citing her inspirations:

"I really wanted this to be a career album. I wanted to show my love of Jerome Kern and Andrew Lloyd Webber and Dolly Parton. I'd always wanted to do a live album, because I grew up listening to Judy (Garland)'s and Barbra (Streisand)'s and Bette (Midler)'s."
