Sometimes, Bollywood bad boy, Salman Khan, needs to be put back in line, and no better person to do that than Katrina Kaif. So, expect Deepika Padukone to be putting in a call to Katrina Kaif any day now. It seems that the press doesn't yet get Salman's sense of humor. As Katrina Kaif said after the infamous cracker package comment, "Salman's in his own little universe." So, when a photo of Salman imitating the Vin Diesel photo that Deepika shared on social media came out, the press were all over that, declaring a Salman Khan/Deepika Padukone feud.
It is a very tough fight for Salman to pick. Deepika has been winning fights right and left. First, there was Katrina Kaif. Deepika was the underdog for most of that fight, but came back to knock Katrina Kaif into next week. Then, it was Shah Rukh. The battle of the big movies, Dilwale vs. Bajirao Mastani and, though the box office battle is far from over, Deepika has taken a decided advantage and her film will most likely out-earn Dilwale. This is the wrong woman to pick a fight with at the moment, Salman.
That is to say, if Salman Khan is actually trying to pick a fight with Deepika Padukone. Reportedly, the Bajirao Mastani actress gave Salman's birthday bash a miss this year, as she is busy celebrating Christmas and New Year with her folks. However, Salman Khan didn't miss a chance to pull her leg and the actor went on to spoof Deepika's much popular Vin Diesel moment. The Tamasha actress has recently shared a pic with Hollywood actor Vin Diesel giving hype to speculations over her Hollywood debut. While the speculations are still on, Salman Khan, during his 50th birthday bash, recreated the pic with Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza and Tennis champ Sania Mirza."
It isn't the first time that one of the pictures Deepika posted on social media has been spoofed, nor will it be the last. Her previous photo that people got a chuckle out of, according to Bollywood Life, "there was another picture of her with the beefy actor. Akshay Kumar along with Housefull 3 co-stars Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan also trolled the picture with Vin Petrol. People were curious whether it was Diesel's doppelganger or a mannequin. Riteish upped the quotient by writing Petrol ka Bhav Diesel se Jyada Hai."
