Donald Trump is currently viewed as the favorite to win the Republican presidential nomination. He has been commenting on anything and everything he can talk about and now has made incredibly dumb comments about the NFL and NFL referees.
As he continues to reach to say what people want to hear, Trump said that NFL refs are getting soft and tried to find a way to relate it to our country as a whole. Jenna Johnson took to Twitter to share the comments that Trump made.

There is absolutely no way that he should be comparing NFL referees to the United States of America. He is just doing everything he possibly can to get his name in the media. Since the NFL is popular right now and refs are the hot topic almost every game, Trump decided to throw his opinion into the mix.
Obviously Trump has to feed his desire to insult others around him. Saying that NFL referees throw their flags to impress their wives might be the dumbest thing anyone has said about officiating.
Unfortunately, if Trump does end up winning the Republican nomination we will have to hear even more of this nonsense from a national stage.
Obviously this may be a bit of an overreaction to his comments, but it has become annoying hearing him comment on anything he can find. Trump needs to stick to politics and stay away from trying to say anything that any single person could want to hear.
