When Katrina Kaif was seen with Salman Khan, all of India was turned on its ear. Kaif had just broken up with Ranbir Kapoor, although that is up for debate, and it was odd to many that she would be seen in the company of her ex, who she left for Ranbir. So, what happened and why did they meet up? What's the secret behind Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's secret meeting?
Coincidence? At least, that is how Katrina's people are spinning it. According to a statement released by her PR people, brought to us by IBN Live, "Ali Abbas Zafar is Katrina's close friend and she attends his birthday party every year and this year was no different. Ali is directing Sultan with Salman, which is why he was on the guest list, along with a whole bunch of other people, including Kabir Khan. There was no secret meeting between Katrina and Salman. Request people to please have some respect and not construct stories which are untrue."
However, now, the brakes are being gently applied to the whole break up story. Not dismissed, mind you. There is trouble, though. Rumors are floating around that Ranbir might have his hands in another girl's cookie jar and that was what pushed Katrina over the edge. However, it isn't ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone whose cookie jar Ranbir had his hands in. It was a yet unnamed one.
If you are looking for the scenario where Ranbir is the victim, Times of India provides it, "Our source claims the root cause of the tension between the two is Salman Khan. We were told, 'Katrina agreeing to promote her next film on the finale of Bigg Boss, a show hosted by her ex-beau Salman, didn't go down well with Ranbir and that led to a major argument."'
We will just have to wait to see how this all unfolds and who did what to whom and when. The Bollywood media has everyone running in circles seeking information about the break up, if there was one, and the dust will have to settle before the real truth can come out.
