'Young American Sloane Stephens Beats Venus

For years now, the dominant Williams sisters have reigned over the tennis world, especially when it comes to American contenders. Sloane Stephens has made occasional strides over her first years on the tour, with recent success bringing up the thought of her dethroning the queens of American tennis. The Williams sisters, Serena and Venus, aren't getting any younger and know there will be a time soon when a player will become their better and take the spot as America's next hope. • 'Former San Francisco 49er Ray McDonald Fired

The Chicago Bears were tricked. They were convinced the often-troubled defensive end cleaned up his act and would be able to suit up for the team this season. In today's NFL, the creed is fool me once and...you shouldn't have fooled me at all, you have been given numerous second chances. With that in mind, the Bears went ahead and dealt with this situation by firing McDonald. McDonald was arrested, yet again, for domestic abuse. It's no secret that the Bears (and especially the NFL) need to rid themselves of these type of employees. This repeating scandal for McDonald has had another team dump him, with hopefully the rest of the league paying attention this time.
  • 'Duke Baller Jahlil Okafor Talks Chicago Basketball Legends

The NBA draft is around the corner, and two players have separated themselves from the pack as the potential number one pick. One-and-done Duke University center Jahlil Okafor is one of the possible front-runners for the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Los Angeles Lakers. Both are in a rebuilding mode that would include looking for a prospect that is a force from the post. Okafor is from Chicago, a city known for its legendary basketball players, and could continue that tradition for one lucky team this June.
