'Chip Kelly and Eagles Outclass the New York Football Giants, Extending Their Rivalry One More Year

There was one more chapter written in the great Giants/Eagles rivalry Sunday, but it didn't go the way the Giants wanted. The Eagles shut New York out 27-0, while Philly coach Chip Kelly had a little something to say in response to the massive amount of trash talk done by the Giants during the week prior. • 'Dallas Surprises Everyone With Victory Over Defending Super Bowl Champions

Defending Super Bowl Champions the Seattle Seahawks have lost another game in Seattle, a rare feat over the last few years. Quarterback Russell Wilson had a bit of an off game against Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys, meanwhile, are in the middle of a turnaround season. The once-great franchise, which has struggled for much of the last decade and a half, is 5-1 after three consecutive 8-8 seasons. Dallas' shocking win was a great psychological victory in the playoff picture as they defeated a still strong Seattle team during one of their best starts in recent history.
  • 'Raiders Say Goodbye to 0-4 Start as They Possibly Prepare to Say Hello Again To Los Angeles

The Oakland Raiders, who are 0-5 on the season, have lost eleven straight games. In a ball burial ceremony before their most recent loss, Interim Raiders coach Tony Sparano dug a hole and put a football in it. This symbolic gesture was borrowed from former mentor Rex Ryan, with the intent of putting the past behind them. It didn't yield immediate dividends, though their tough play and schematic preparation made the San Diego Chargers' victory a difficult one. The Chargers, along with the Raiders and the St. Louis Rams, have reportedly been named as potential former LA-based NFL Teams which might be relocated back to Los Angeles.
