'Ray Rice Looks To Fast Track Appeal of Suspension, While Ravens Coach John Harbaugh Looks to Run the Ball Without Him

Former Ravens running back Ray Rice is reportedly looking to fast track his appeal of the indefinite suspension levied against him after video footage of his vicious assault of his wife Janay Palmer surfaced last month. The assault case did not go to trial, as Rice applied for PTI, but the graphic and brutal nature of the beating caused the NFL to amend their initial two-game suspension. Rice is appealing the decision, but doesn't want to wait for the independent investigation to conclude, which could take months. Meanwhile, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh continues to try and run the football without his star back.
