5 Most Disappointing Players for the Atlanta Falcons in 2015 NFL Season

The Atlanta Falcons had a disappointing 2015 NFL season and ended up missing the postseason. Who were the five most disappointing players for the Falcons this season as the team looks ahead to the offseason?

1. Matt Ryan, Quarterback

Perhaps the most obvious option for the top spot on this list is quarterback Matt Ryan. He was without question one of the more disappointing players in the NFL and finished the year with 16 interceptions. Ryan was one of the big reasons that the Falcons didn't make it into the playoffs and that is something that will be looked at if he has another season as poor as this year was.

2. Tevin Coleman, Running Back

Rookie running back Tevin Coleman came into the 2015 season as the starting running back. He ended the season as the backup to Devonta Freeman and didn't have a very big season at all. Coleman ended up carrying the football just 87 times for 392 yards and two touchdowns on the season and his future appears to be the Falcons' backup for quite some time.

3. Adrian Clayborn, Defensive End

Adrian Clayborn was a huge disappointment this season and it wouldn't be surprising to see him leave town this coming offseason. He ended the season with 15 tackles and 3.0 sacks. There is no question that the 27-year-old defensive end was a disappointment this season and very much belongs on this list.

4. Matt Bryant, Kicker

There are not many kickers that will end up on disappointment lists, but Matt Bryant is one of them. He was 14-18 from the field this season and missed some time due to injury as well. Bryant is 40 years old now and this season could be a sign that his career is coming to an end.

5. Roddy White, Wide Receiver

Throughout the majority of his career, Roddy White has been a star receiver for the Falcons. That was not the case this season, as White ended up catching 43 passes for 506 yards and just one touchdown. White is now 34 years old and it is tough to see his career beginning to falter the way it has and hopefully his 2016 season will be better.
