Newton will rise to the occasion on the biggest stage in the game of football and will dominate the Broncos' defense.
2. Luke Kuechly Will Continue His Defensive Stardom
There have not been many better defensive playmakers in recent NFL history than Luke Kuechly. He has been dominant in every single way and that will continue this week. Whether he gets to Peyton Manning and sacks him or picks him off, he is going to be a huge presence that will make things very difficult on the Denver offense.
3. Greg Olsen Will Torch Any Defender Denver Uses on Him
Greg Olsen has stepped up in a huge way this season and the Broncos don't have anyone that can shut him down. He is going to have a big game, which will help give Newton confidence as well. Carolina has to find ways to make the most out of their advantages and utilizing Olsen early and often is one of those advantages.
4. Carolina's Defense Will Put Too Much Pressure on Manning to Stop
Denver's offensive line has come together a bit over the second half of the season, but the Carolina defense is too good for them to stop. Peyton Manning is going to take a good beating and it will be hard for the Broncos' offense to get going. Carolina's defense has gotten them this far and it isn't going to stop now.
5. The Momentum and Confidence Are on Their Side
Simply looking at the two teams, the Panthers are obviously the hotter team. Newton and the Panthers have been playing with extreme confidence all season long, while the Broncos have dealt with their share of change and problems. Carolina is going to come out strong and will continue the way that they have been playing throughout the entire season.
