Buffalo Bills: Grading Quarterback Tyrod Taylor's 2015 NFL Season

The Buffalo Bills are coming off of a disappointing 2015 NFL season, but they may found their quarterback of the future. Tyrod Taylor put up big nubers and grading his season is without question a difficult task.

Taylor showed off his ability to be a dual-threat quarterback and fit into the Buffalo offense perfectly. It was obvious that Rex Ryan was confident in his quarterback and Taylor still has two years more left on his deal. Buffalo is going to give him another season at least as their starter and could very well give him more time to prove his full potential.

There were some injury issues that Taylor suffered through and hopefully next season he is able to stay at full health all season long.

Throughout the course of the 2015 season, Taylor ended up playing in 14 of the 16 regular season games. He completed 63.7 percent of his passes for 3,035 yards, 20 touchdowns and six interceptions. Buffalo ended the season with an 8-8 record and a long wishlist for the 2016 offseason.

At 26 years old, Taylor still has a lot of potential left to work his way into. Buffalo has not even come close to seeing the full potential that he has. That is a dangerous and scary though for opposing defensive coordinators.

Heading into the 2015 season, Taylor had only played a major role in one NFL game. He wasn't able to put up huge numbers in that game, but he was able to show off some skills that helped get him the job in Buffalo.

Beating out Matt Cassel and E.J. Manuel in training camp and preseason action wasn't easy either.

Taylor truly battled through some tests in 2015 and those tests have set him up very nicely for the 2016 season. He wasn't perfect this past season, but he did well enough to be a top Fantasy Football quarterback and also set him up as the obvious starter for the Bills next season.

Expect to see him continue growing as a player and to come back in 2016 even better than he was this season.

Tyrod Taylor 2015 NFL Season Grade: B+
