TimesTalks Presents Audra McDonald in Musical Revival of 'Shuffle Along'

Audra McDonald has had a jam-packed year, what with a reprise role as Ms. Billie Holiday in the West End debut of "Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill" as well as a return to the critically acclaimed "Shuffle Along." For the latter, a TimesTalk will be held Friday, Feb. 19 to give audiences a deeper insight into the six-time Tony winner and her role in the 1921 musical.

    It was announced this week that producer Scott Rudin acquired the rights for "To Kill a Mockingbird" and has hired none other than Aaron Sorkin to adapt it to the stage. Tony Award-winning director Bartlett Sher (South Pacific) will also join the team.
