Hillary Clinton Tweets Support for ‘Hamilton’ After Grammy Award Win

In the middle of this divisive election season there is one thing that can unite us all. That is 'Hamilton.' The now Grammy Award winning musical is beloved by all but perhaps the most anti-American among us and even than you just know they secretly like it. Even known America hater and terrorist leader Cobra Commander was able to put his world conquest aside and snake a few tickets to the show. With the musical winning big at the Grammy Awards this Monday night, may we propose that Presidents Day be renamed Hamilton Day? Speaking of Presidents. Presidential hopeful, Hillary Clinton got into the action, tweeting her support for Hamilton after they won. At last we checked this message had not been deleted so we can assume she still stands by it.

    Just call her the little green lady that could fly high on her broom but take note that the story of Elphaba The Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch from The Wizard of Oz has now ran for over five thousand one hundred and twenty two performances. Wicked blew past Rent this past week in a performance at the historic Gershwin Theatre and became the 10th longest running production in Broadway history.

    The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra turned 100-years-old last night and they celebrated big with special guest, violinist Joshua Bell. If you missed the party don’t worry. The party isn’t over. The BSO has plenty of big events planned for this year including concerts with Broadway’s Sutton Foster ('Thoroughly Modern Millie,' 'Anything Goes'), 'Hairspray' in concert as well as performances of 'Peter and the Wolf ' and 'Porgy and Bess.' That is just a small sample of what the BSO has in store for guest this year.
