'Donald Trump Campaign Playlist Features Pavarotti, Adele, Elton John and ‘Phantom’

Pretty much everything that Donald Trump does these days is making headline. But here at Classicalite we are not so much concerned with what he says, but what he listens too. Turns out that Trump is a pretty big fan of Pavarotti performing Puccini's "Nessun Dorma", Adele's "Skyfall" theme, Elton John's hit "Rocket Man" and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s "Phantom of the Opera." These are four songs that are commonly played at Trump’s campaign rallies.

Like for example did you know that at all of his speeches he always leaves Box 5 open in order to appease Eric the Opera Ghost. It's true, even if there are now box seats, he has at least five of them built just to leave one open. He also plays music from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 'The Phantom of the Opera' at most of his events. That is right, Trump is a big fan of one of the longest running and most successful Broadway & West End shows ever.

    Beginning Tuesday, February 2, 'Rock of Ages' Carrie St. Louis will don the role of Glinda in the three-time Tony Award-winning musical, "Wicked." The long-running Broadway production of 'Wicked" at the Gershwin Theatre will also see Peter Scolari (Bosom Buddies and Bronx Bombers) assume the role of the Wizard.
