Literary legend Harper Lee has passed away the age of 89 on Friday. Harper is universally for her famed novel 'To Kill A Mockingbird,' which has been adapted for both film and the stage. It was recently announced that Lee’s masterwork will be adapted once again by stage and screen writer, Aaron Sorkin ( 'A Few Good Men,' 'The West Wing'and directed by Bartlett Sher ('The King and I,' 'Fiddler on the Roof'). 'West Side Story' is coming to Knockdown Center this March for a special three night concert performance presented by Carnegie Hall. today announced the full cast for its upcoming production of West Side Story. The performance will be directed by Amanda Dehnert. Marin Alsop serves as conductor and music director. The cast includes Skylar Astin ('Spring Awakening') as Tony and Morgan Hernandez as Maria. The show will also feature 14 high school students from New York and New Jersey, as well as a choir of nearly 200 students from all five New York Burroughs.
