Ali Forney Center Nears Campaign Goal to Buy Hate Church: James Manning Vows to Fight Sale
UPDATE: Earlier this week we reported that the Ali Fornery Center was attempting to raise funds in order to buy the infamous hate Church Atalh Worldwide Church in Harlem. The church lead by James David Manning is known for using their sign to spread hate aimed at the LGBT community. The church has been up for sale because of past tax debt among many other financial troubles. Now as Ali Forney is getting close to their goal, Manning is threatening to fight back. Alan Cumming’s (Cabaret) all new album, Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs, is out now. On the new record Cumming covers a variety of songs from artist like Billy Joel, Miley Cyrus, Rufus Wainwright as well classic musicals like Stephen Sondheim's Company and Kander and Ebb's You, You, You. Following today’s release, Cumming will perform live at Carnegie Hall this coming Monday, Feb 08) with special guest Kristen Chenoweth (Wicked), Darren Criss (Hedwig & The Angry Inch) and more. Alan Cumming will also be singing his sappy songs on the road with various performance date throughout Canada and the U.S.
