A Tale of Two Singers in Mexico, Justin Bieber and Kitty Kallen.

Recently events concerning two singers have been made the news. The singers' names are Justin Bieber and Kitty Kallen. There is no real connection between the two. Both individuals come from different times and have very different styles to their music. Justin Bieber is a post hip-hop, top forty 40 sensation and Kitty Kallen was a well known big band singer. Their behavior in life and in the way they went about performing is very indicitive of the time they came from.

    The original stars of the Tony award-winning show The Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder are planning to reunite February 13 for one show. It is a special thank you to the fans and the cast is planning a cabaret style evening, showcasing songs from the show. It will be hosted by composer Steven Lutvak and he will be joined by cast members Jefferson Mays, Bryce Pinkham and Lisa O'Hare, along with Catherine Walker.

  • Chicago Bulls' Derrick Rose Needs LeBron James Treatment, Rest for 2 Weeks to Get Healthy

    During the Chicago Bulls game against the Milwaukee Bucks tonight, Derrick Rose felt the effects of yet another injury. This time, left patellar (front of knee) tendinitis (different from the right hamstring tendinitis and right knee "soreness" from a couple of weeks ago) has come up, and it's not something to be taken lightly. What this calls for is the LeBron James treatment -- in other words, let him rest for the next couple of weeks even though his ailments are something that could be played through and let him get healthy.
