Alex Lacamoire, 'Hamilton' Music Mastermind Talks Ingredients Behind Musical Success

The paths traced in Broadway's smash hit, "Hamilton," are endless. Lin-Manuel Miranda's brainchild takes in the life and history of Alexander Hamilton but with its own added ingredients. With the music as one of those ingredients, so is Alex Lacamoire, the man who orchestrated the score and co-arranged the songs.

    Once upon a time successfully blending elements of dance, circus, opera, theatre and high fashion could have been considered a fairytale in itself. Not any more. Company XIV is gearing up for the world premiere of adults only version of 'Snow White,' which mixes the iconic Brothers Grimm tale with some of the greatest performing arts disciplines. Created, choreographed and directed by Drama Desk Award nominee Austin McCormick, the show starts its seven week limit run off-broadway at Minetta Lane Theatre on Feb 03 with previews starting on Jan 26.

  • 'The Humans,' 'Hughie' & 'Crucible' Will Debut on Broadway Early 2016; Tickets Available Now

    Although the holiday season can be less-than lucrative for Broadway, 2015 ended on a high note for the Great White Way. Wicked alone grossed nearly $3 million dollars during Christmas week and, overall, Broadway grossed over $43 million dollars the following week. This marks a .68% jump from last year and, now, a new production 'The Humans, Hughie and The Crucible' is making their debut on Broadway in 2016.
